Parallels

This game was fully made in a single html document. You control 2 rectangles in parallel universes trying to escape the depths.

The game in its entirety was made in a single html document (even the audio) for Acerola game jam 0. It can therefore be played from just the source code alone and doesn't require an internet connection!

It includes a built in level editor which I created and used for making the levels! All the levels were made on the last day of the jam (so don't expect anything crazy lol).

It was a fun little challenge, and Ive learned alot from it (as Ive never made a 2d game before!), but I wouldn't recommend trying to create a full game in html lol. While I got a playable game out, it has alot of bugs. Most of the bugs are related to the collisions, which I spent way too much time on (so that would be the first thing to fix).

You are free to take the game and create anything you would like with it! Though I wouldn't recommend trying to continue with the html file and rather just take the code and learn from it!
